02/03/2010 - As the countdown begins to the start of the 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, series stalwart Matt Neal was back behind the wheel of a Team Dynamics Honda Civic at Oulton Park today (Tuesday 2 March) to work on vehicle set-up for the approaching season.

Neal - who won two BTCC titles with Team Dynamics in 2005 and 2006 - plans to return to the squad in 2010 following two seasons with Vauxhall, and the Worcestershire-based racer is already feeling confident about the Civic's performance this season.

"The Honda is going really good and the circuit is great today - it's very clean, nice and warm thanks to the sunny day!" he said.

"My plan is to race with Team Dynamics this year and we are hoping to get some good results, but at the moment it's a bit like throwing your hat up in the air to see what you get as there have been no real benchmarks as yet.

"With factors like the new BTCC engine regulations and potential entries from the ex-World Touring Car Chevrolet Cruzes it is hard to predict how we will do this year. However, if we are up against another S2000 car then we will stand a very good chance!" Neal added.

Also testing at Oulton Park today were British GT pairing Aaron Scott and Craig Wilkins, whose season gets underway at the Cheshire circuit this Easter weekend (3/5 April). The pair were testing a Ginetta that Craig will race in the Britcar Championship this year, but are brimming with confidence at their GT title chances in a Dodge Viper.

Tickets are now available for the British Touring Car Championship at Oulton Park on 5/6 June and British F3 and GT Championships on 3/5 April. Tickets cost from £24 and £17 for each event respectively, with free entry for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0870 950 9000 or click on the link below.
