Oliver Jarvis: "I'm dreaming of becoming DTM Champion"
British driver gunning for the title
05/02/2010 - Briton Olly Jarvis is preparing himself for a championship challenge in 2010 having been promoted to the factory Audi team.
Jarvis finished ninth in the 2009 series in a year-old Audi having set history by becoming the first driver to secure pole position in a year-old car. 2010 will see the young Briton trying to claim his break through race win and join fellow Briton Gary Paffett in winning the DTM title.
"Of course I'm dreaming of becoming DTM champion but the main thing is for Audi to win the championship", said Jarvis who is the youngest driver racing for the factory Audi squad. "I can hardly wait for the season to start! I know that competing with my team-mates and the Mercedes guys will be a tough job - but I look forward to the challenge."
The DTM will be having its only British race of 2010 at Brands Hatch on 4/5 September. Tickets are available for £25 with free entry for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0870 950 9000 or click on the link below
